Unipol Group and Fondazione Unipolis for the Internazionale festival
The Internazionale a Ferrara Festival returns this year from 29th September to 1st October, with a special edition to celebrate thirty years of Internazionale where journalists, writers and artists from around the world will meet with the audience. The series of audio and international documentaries will also be back, together with book presentations and workshops for children.
The Unipol Group and Fondazione Unipolis will support the festival again this year and have collaborated with Internazionale to organise two events on the important topics of “City” and “Activism”.
The first issue will be the subject of a discussion on Saturday with architect Mario Cucinella, who will talk about how we can rethink urban spaces to make them sustainable from an environmental and social point of view while reducing inequalities and promoting accessible lifestyles. In fact, by 2050 70 per cent of the world’s population will live in cities, which is where the challenges of the future will be played out.
On Sunday, an open discussion with the public moderated by Giacomo Petitti di Roreto will focus on forms of citizen activism and dissent. The magic number of any protest is 3.5 per cent. Success is guaranteed once this threshold of the population is involved. But what are the most effective forms of protest? How far is it okay to go?
