Marettimo Italian Film Festival

The Unipol Group is Main sponsor of the second Marettimo Italian Film Festival, an event which celebrates and promotes Italian films and in particular the debut and follow-up films of directors that were released in theatres over the last year. Running from 20 to 24 July, the Festival will benefit from the artistic direction of director Pupi Avati and will take place against the evocative backdrop of the island of Marettimo, in the Sicilian archipelago of the Aegadian Islands (Trapani). 

The Marettimo Italian Film Festival combines a love for Italian cinema with a love for the environment and, in particular, the protection of the sea. The Festival involves screenings of documentaries, films and short films which share the common thread of the sea and the promotion of the marine environment, films which also include 9 productions made available by National Geographic.
