Born in Rome on 28 April 2001, Laura Rogora is a young Italian climber who started practicing the sport at the age of just four, quickly moving up the world rankings over time.
She has won numerous titles, including the 2019 World Youth Championships in bouldering, lead and combined events and the 2020 Lead World Cup. She was also the first Italian woman to climb 9a+ grade route and first in the world to climb a 9b/+ route.
Laura is a very versatile climber who has excelled in all climbing disciplines and is one of the world’s most popular athletes in her sport.
In 2021, she was selected to represent Italy at the Tokyo Olympics. She was the youngest Italian athlete to compete at these Games and finished the competition in fourth place.
