Bologna Jazz Festival - Enrico Zanisi concert

Big Band Theory is the title of the 2018 edition of the Bologna Jazz Festival. All the main concerts will involve large orchestras, while various other large ensembles will be playing during the remaining planning.

This evening Enrico Zanisi, Italy’s brightest new jazz pianist, will be performing at the Unipol Auditorium.

Already a multi award winner despite his tender years, Zanisi will be appearing on stage together with Enrico Pieranunzi’s rhythm section (Luca Bulgarelli on double base and Mauro Beggio on drums), surrounded by the Symphony Orchestra of the “G. B. Martini” Conservatory of Bologna. The concert will be conducted by Michele Corcella who is also responsible for the arrangements of the programme dedicated to the music of John Lewis, a rich blend of jazz and classical music.
