World Aquatics Championships Doha 2024

The 21st FINA World Championships will be held in Doha on 2-18 February 2024.

The events scheduled include swimming, diving, high diving, water polo, artistic swimming and open water swimming.

The diving championships will be the first to make a splash on February 2nd with breath-taking dives from great heights, along with the spectacular performances of the athletes in artistic swimming. The open water swimming events will also be held during the first week of the competition and, last but not least, water polo, with Italian teams Settebello and Setterosa taking the stage.

The long course swimming events are scheduled for the second week, from February 11th to 18th, at the Aspire Dome. Heats begin at 8:30 am (Italian time), followed by afternoon semi-finals and finals at 6:00 pm (Italian time).

The Italian team will be the largest delegation present, with 34 athletes competing: 20 males and 14 females, with 9 athletes making their world debut.

The Doha World Championships are a lead-up event to the 2024 Paris Olympics (26 July - 11 August).

Athletes competing include Gregorio Paltrinieri, Simona Quadarella, Benedetta Pilato, Alberto Razzetti, Nicolò Martinenghi and Alessandro Miressi.
