Morandi 1890 - 1964

The Unipol Group is Main Sponsor of the retrospective “Morandi 1890 – 1964”, on show at Palazzo Reale from 5 October 2023 until 4 February 2024.

More than thirty years since the last retrospective, Milan has dedicated a major exhibition to Giorgio Morandi to celebrate the special bond between the city and the Bolognese painter.

The exhibition is designed and curated by Maria Cristina Bandera and, given the variety and quality of the works, is one of the most important and complete retrospectives on the Bolognese painter to be held in recent decades, building on the consolidated appreciation of his work at prestigious international venues, from the Metropolitan Museum of New York, to the Pushkin Museum in Moscow and the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao.
