Legambiente

Confirming its commitment to the environment, in November 2017 the Unipol Group renewed its partnership with Legambiente (The Environmental League). In fact, the Memorandum of Understanding, articulated on many fronts, was renewed and amplified, with the dual goal of classifying Unipol's environmental commitment nationwide and raising awareness with its stakeholders in relation to the importance of safeguarding and developing this precious resource.

The Memorandum also intends to be an instrument for spreading the culture of legitimacy and for promoting all synergies possible between civilian society, companies and institutions involved in difficult territories and on "borders".

There will be two main fields of partnership:

  • The redevelopment project "Italian Beauty" where rundown areas in our country will be restored to their original beauty and for use by inhabitants.
  • The pledge for the development of active policies and appropriate instruments that will improve resilience to climate change in Italy.
